Deb Reveley (Brain Ambulance)
Deb Reveley is the CEO and Principal Driver of the Brain Ambulance, a business she started 12 years ago to deliver mental health education from the lived experience. Initially a teacher, Deb has owned several businesses, was the inaugural recipient of the Mental Health First Aid Australia Master Instructor Award and has written and produced the Mental Health Response Box which is an Australia wide toolkit for workplaces. Deb is a huge advocate for the recovery model and has an excellent capacity to be able to help others understand the day to day complexities and issues of mental illness.
Ley Webster (2 Workin Oz)
In 2010 Ley designed and developed the unique farm training and recruitment concept that is now '2 Workin Oz'. Seeing first hand the need for industry change to increase safety and productivity and reduce staff turnover during peak periods of seasonal labour demand for farms in rural Australia. Seven years on, this is still a work in progress and she keeps striving to improve and grow with the times.
Bindi Murray (Farmer & 2012 Young Farmer of the Year)
Bindi is a 3rd generation farmer from the Great Southern town of Woodanilling. She has always been passionate about agriculture and finds sheep uniquely challenging and interesting. Bindi is proud of and passionate about our industry and rural communities and that has motivated her to be involved in industry groups and roles.
Paul Miller (Miller’s Ice- cream)
After facing continued setbacks in the dairy industry, dairy farmers, Trish and Paul Miller recognised the need to diversify their business. They operate a working dairy farm, hand make ice cream, bottle milk, and run the popular Farm Café & Milking Shed.
Annie Brox (Managing Director of Origo)
Annie grew up on a mixed grain and dairy farm in Norway. She specialises in IT and is the managing director of Origo.
Boyd Brown (Telstra Area General Manager WA South & Central)
Boyd is the Telstra Country Wide Area General Manager for WA. He will provide an update on Telstra towards Rural WA, 5G for Agriculture and what this will mean.
Jan Savage (Window Into WIFE)
Jan has been a passionate member of the Ongerup community since 1975. During her time in Ongerup, she has been a part of numerous boards, councils and committees.
Sally Harding (Window Into WIFE)
Sally’s farming career began in Bridgetown with her husband. In 1995, they shifted to Ongerup, buying a 1,250ha farm. Fast forward 12 years and Sally and her family now farm 7,000ha.
Sarah Frost (Window Into WIFE)
Sarah grew up in Mount Madden and returned to farm early with her husband - Andy. Together they have grown their farm business to 9000 ha. Seeing the benefits of the WIFE network Sarah was proud to become part of the Varley WIFE Committee and is now into her second year as President. She has also been a long standing member of WIFE Inc and is in her second year as treasurer.
