Start a Branch

The Women in Farming board is comprised of a passionate group of Wheatbelt women who volunteer their time and efforts to share the Women in Farming model and help each branch make it happen in their local area. Women in Farming provides new branches with meeting templates, administration guides and support to help get things up and running. Once going, Women in Farming encourages the exchange of information between branches via resource networking and at the Annual Seminar. Here members can catch up face to face and enjoy hearing from a number of guest speakers on chosen topics.

The Women in Farming model has been designed to encourage new branches to develop independently while remaining connected under the Women in Farming Inc banner. Women in Farming supports and assists new groups to start up and provides critical funding to reduce barriers to forming and running a group. It facilitates the sharing of information between all branches.

A Women in Farming representative is available to explain the operation of branches and the organisation in detail and a board member will come to your town and run an Information Day.

“I meet with an amazing range of farming women within our community who I had little contact with otherwise and we love to talk Ag!

Having an active Women in Farming group in our area provides a focal point for Ag Q&A and opens up many a farm chat.”
